St. Maarten is a beautiful island. Several places are rebuilt and rebuilding after the devastating hurricane two years ago.
You get two countries for the price of one - Dutch and French. After standing where the two countries met, we opted for the French side and had an amazing day at Kontiki Beach Club.
We came to Kontiki at the recommendation of a friend and what a gem we found! A beautiful beach, great service and amazing food - we spent our day on St. Maarten at Kontiki and could not be happier!
Kontiki was a gem of gems! We had a beautiful beach - Orient Beach in St. Maarten and dined on everything from sushi to seafood to hamburgers!
If your kids love the beach - we found it's best to find an amazing beach club where kids can play in the sand and surf and adults can have a great meal and enjoy an adult beverage or two!
This club was an amazing find and we'll be back the next time we are in St. Maarten!
